Monahven
Monahven was named after the mountain under which he now resides; it was the volcano that erupted and guided The Travelers' exiled ancestors over frozen oceans and to the safety of land.
Monahven zul'i Feykro-Se-Jun is his full name, “The Burning Mountain, Mortal Voice of the Forest of Light”.
His name is interpreted to position him as a guardian and advocate, a liaison or emissary for the symbolic seed of all life in their world. Very much a ‘lesser deity' in the pan-theology the Travelers follow.
Free of (most of..) the burdens of deification, he spends much of his time courting female Travelers and members of the lesser tribes, and raising clutches of eggs and young borne from them.
He is a trader of sacraments, tobacco, incense, spices and other rare luxuries harvested from his forest. At festivals and large gatherings, he employs his natural charisma as a famed and beloved storyteller and keeper of traditional legends.

Appearance#
Equally luxurious to his fur, he's covered in the height of feral dragon regalia made of several layers of heavyweight finery. Crafted of exquisite cloth and embroidery, the garb is quite obviously of many different origins thanks to the drake's travels. Utilized in a manner to emphasize wealth and fashion, rather than to impart any sense of modesty, the clothing hangs loose and allows great freedom of movement, as well as great visibility of the body beneath. In similar fashion, he's clad in a wealth of platinum and golden jewelry, ears pierced with dozens of heavy gold rings, horns neatly adorned with several more jeweled and engraved rings as well as several others dangling and glinting from holes drilled through his carefully-tended horns' tips. Heavy golden bands hang from his neck, ankles, forelegs, and even his tailbase- including several rings made for his foredigits and hindtoes.
He looks friendly, especially against the measure of other dragons. His muzzle bears twin barbels, just behind the narrow, slitted nares at the end of his long, velvety-furred muzzle. A woven pattern in his irises glows as well, each a mirrored image of the other eye. His tongue is forked, and has the same symmetrical lacing of woven, glowing patterns as the rest of his body. His horns are long, and seem to be a foggy-clear translucent color, diffusing the illumination cast from deep within their bases. Just behind those horns' bases, and a bit beneath, two ears pivot neatly to provide him a keen senes of hearing. Usually in an unkempt mess, his mane of thick white fur is typically stretched along both sides of the dragon's neck, and sticking up around his horns.
The mane of fur runs to the base of his wings, and between them, all the way down in a singular ridge to the tip of his tail, which sports a thick fuff of long-white fur at the very end. His belly has a similar ridge of longer white fur stretching from chin-to-nethers. His wings are powerfully muscled to support their span, and are also vividly marked with the dragon's glowing patterns, save for the sails which are speckled with white points of starlight, reminiscent of a clear night sky. They fold sleekly along the drake's long back and torso, and when tucked, conceal the heavily laden bags strapped securely beneath them!

Description - Home#
A giant abandoned cavern, furnished heavily with artfully woven rugs, cozy blankets and cushions strewn around on a ledge surrounding a natural hot spring. The space is lushly decorated in vibrant, colorful designs and patterns which serve as a plain indicator of the resident dragon's wealth and status. Platinum and silver metals and details adorn higher value items, and copper and brass lanterns illuminate the pavilions, ledges and areas dug into the stone walls of the deep cavern.
An enormous hole through the ceiling allows daylight (and moonlight) in, surrounded by dense, impenetrable jungle far, far above.
